Inspired by David Medalla’s artwork A Stitch in Time, participants are invited to learn 4 types of stitches and to embroider a small object or a letter onto a piece of fabric. In this one-hour session, a tutor will explain basic stitches and guide visitors to stitch their own creations. CHAT will post a DIY kit with all materials required to participants directly.
Materials included in DIY kit: A piece of fabric, one embroidery hoop, three skeins of embroidery yarn, two embroidery needles and one threader.
