Do you ever notice the landscape of your surroundings? Would you like to preserve the memory of your neighbourhood?
Artist Eastman Cheng and women from Asbury Methodist Social Service have been experimenting with food and natural pigment dyes this summer. Under their guidance, workshop participants will learn about household dyeing techniques and together recreate the landscape of Tsuen Wan with punch needle embroidery. The collaborative result will be exhibited at CHAT’s Winter Programme 2022.
Experience level: Prior experience of punch needle embroidery preferred, but we also welcome confident participants with no experience! Suitable for participants aged 16 or above.
Materials needed: All materials are provided.
