CHAT GO!
Let’s Build a Textile Village
“CHAT GO! Let’s Build a Textile Village” is the first pre-opening programme at CHAT’s permanent home – The Mills in Tsuen Wan. From 28 July to 19 August 2018, we invite you to participate in the making of CHAT towards its Grand Opening in Spring 2019, and experience a diverse range of participatory activities at our much-anticipated heritage site!
During the 17-day programme, our space will be transformed into a Textile Village; involving many hands-on workshops by local design and craft groups, installations and performance by Japanese artist Taguchi Yukihiro, and a preview of Turner Prize winning architect collective Assemble’s work in progress for CHAT’s Grand Opening. In this preparatory programme, CHAT will also present a series of talks, screenings and sharing sessions, to enrich your engagement in your Textile Village building experience!
Come and join us this Summer!
(All events will be conducted in Cantonese, except Post-screening Discussion on 12 August will be conducted in both Putonghua and Cantonese)
