Future Parade
‘I think the future is a magnifier that your dream will be seen in large scale. If you see it in the right direction, the dream will be magnified; if from the wrong side, the dream will be diminished. One will accomplish his/ her dream if he/ she works hard. I hope the Future magnifier will help enlarge your dreams.’ — N S Harsha
The Future workshop invites around 100 primary school students to embark on a journey of dreams. All children engaged in this workshop will be given an opportunity to imagine what they would like to be when they grow up, to visualise and draw those future dreams on adult-sized shirts. After the creative sessions led by Harsha are completed, the students will participate in a parade wearing the shirts they created. They are encouraged to speak out loud the word ‘future’ in Cantonese with passers-by. The parade will end at a public space where they will have an opportunity to discuss their ideas with the general public.
The shirts with dreams will then be displayed in CHAT Lounge as a part of Gathering Delights.
